Authentic Heritage & Story

Olive Mithai D.F Mixed Sweet is a collection of fun Indian sweets, all filled with dry fruits. They contain various types, such as soft kalakand squares with almond slivers, thick layers of barfi with cashew pieces, and nutty badam rolls that fall apart in the right places. Starts with fresh milk whose boiling is done slowly to achieve that thick and then it is combined with sugar to give it a mild sweetness. Dry fruits such as almonds, cashews, pistachios, and sometimes raisins or figs are chopped and mixed in and add crunch and a little chew. It has a pleasant spicy touch with a dash of cardamom but does not overpower.

Once you open the pack, the first thing that catches the eye is the sight of colours, the golden color of ghee, the green of pistachios, and the brown of nuts, all arranged in small pieces, easy to pick. It is like a little celebration on the plate, where every bite is different. One could be very nutty, while the other would be very milky. In Hyderabad, they are made at Olive Mithai, and people take mixed boxes for Diwali trays or just for movie nights. The pieces are very easy to hold and to cut smaller if you wish, or to pop whole for a quick treat. Sizes are available in 250g for a solo try, 500g for sharing with a few, or 1kg to stock up for larger groups.
