Return Policy

We take real care in packing every order, however, we also understand that sometimes things are beyond our control and some issues may arise.

And when that happens, we make it right, quickly and without fuss.

1. What's Eligible for Return

We accept return, replacement, or refund requests for:

  • Damaged items: Products that arrive broken, leaking, crushed, or otherwise compromised.
  • Incorrect items: If you received a product different from what you ordered.
  • Missing items: If something from your order didn't arrive at all.

2. Reporting Window

Please report any damaged, incorrect, or missing items within 48 hours of the order's delivery. This window helps us investigate quickly with our shipping partners while everything's fresh, and get a resolution to you faster.

3. What We'll Need From You

To process your request as smoothly as possible, please email info@shopindianproducts.com with:

  • Your order number.
  • A clear photo of the item(s) received (and the packaging, if damaged).
  • A brief description of the issue.

Our team reviews these requests immediately and will let you know the next steps, whether that's a replacement, a refund, or in some cases, we need a bit more information to arrive at a decision.

4. Items That Cannot Be Returned

For hygiene, safety, and quality reasons, and in line with standard practice for food and grocery items, the following generally cannot be returned once delivered, unless they arrived damaged, incorrect, or defective:

  • Opened or consumed food items, snacks, sweets, spices, and pantry staples.
  • Perishable goods (such as ghee, pickles, and fresh items) once the seal is broken.
  • Wellness, Ayurvedic, and personal care products once opened, for hygiene reasons.
  • Puja and spiritual items that have been used.
  • Gift cards and promotional items.

If you're ever unsure whether your item qualifies, just ask us and we will clarify upfront instead of leaving you guessing.

5. Replacement or Refund

Once your return request is approved, we initiate a refund to your original payment method.

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days of approval, as outlined in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Please note that we do not offer product exchanges or replacements.

6. Do I Need to Ship the Item Back?

In most cases, you don't need to. For damaged, incorrect, or missing items, a clear photo is usually sufficient, and we won't ask you to go through the hassle of an international return shipment. In rare cases where a physical return is genuinely needed, our team will guide you through the process and cover the necessary return shipping cost.

7. Quality Concerns

If a product simply didn't meet your expectations in terms of taste or quality (rather than being damaged or incorrect), please let us know, we take feedback on our brands and sourcing seriously, and it helps us keep curating the best of India for you, even if it doesn't always result in a refund.
