Cancellation & Refund Policy

Plans change, carts get double-checked, and sometimes you just want to add one more packet of masala before it's too late, we get it. Here's exactly how cancellations and refunds work with us.

1. Cancelling Your Order

  • You may cancel your order, at any time before it has been shipped.
  • To cancel, simply email us at info@shopindianproducts.com or reach out through your account dashboard under "My Orders" with your order number, as soon as possible after placing the order.
  • Once your order has been packed and handed to our shipping partner, we are unable to cancel it, as it's already begun its journey to you. At that stage, our Returns Policy will apply instead, should there be an issue with your delivered items.

2. Modifying an Order

If you would like to change your delivery address, add an item, or adjust quantities, contact us as quickly as possible after placing your order. We'll do our best to accommodate changes before your order enters processing, but we can't guarantee changes once packing has begun.

3. Refunds for Cancelled Orders

Once a cancellation is confirmed on our end, we'll process your refund to the original payment method immediately depending on your bank or payment provider's processing times. You'll receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.

4. Non-Cancellable Orders

Certain orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed, including:

  • Orders that have already been shipped or handed over to our courier partner;
  • Customised, personalised, or made-to-order items;
  • Perishable items that have already entered preparation or packing for dispatch.

5. Refunds for Returns

If your order qualifies for a return under our Returns Policy, for example, if an item arrived damaged or incorrect, refunds will be processed once your return request has been reviewed and approved.

6. Refund Method

All refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. We're unable to offer refunds via alternate methods (such as bank transfer or cash) unless your original payment method is no longer valid, in which case our support team will work with you on a suitable alternative.

7. Order Cancelled by Us

On rare occasions, we may need to cancel an order ourselves, due to stock unavailability, a pricing error, shipping restrictions to your destination, or suspected fraudulent activity. If this happens, we'll notify you promptly by email and issue a full refund; you won't be charged for anything we're unable to deliver.

8. Questions About a Refund?

Even after a confirmed refund, if you still don't see it reflected, please reach out to us. Sometimes banks take a little extra time, and we are happy to help you check on it.
