Authentic Heritage & Story
Dadus Mithai Vatika Khova Gujiya is a sweet made by molding the dough into small semi-circles. The outer part, which is crisp and golden brown, is made from a thin pastry dough. The inner part is made of a mixture of khova, grated coconut, and some dry fruits. The outside is fried to a nice and even light brown color with some small bubbles that indicate that the gujiya has just been fried in fresh oil. Sugar is sprinkled in a very light layer for a sweet touch without a sticky hold. The traditional gujiya shape is the smooth half-moon style.
Storage Instructions:
Store the gujiyas in a cool and dry place, but make sure that they are away from the sun and heat. After taking out one gujiya, close the box tightly. When the box is half full, move the air-tight tin for storing gujiyas.
How to Use:
Eating a straight box of plain gujiya is a treat in itself. It is best to consume the gujiyas within 7 days of the pack date. It can be shared at a plate during tea time or at the end of a meal. Take a half and break it into small pieces, and give it to the kids. Two mid-day quick pauses should be enough to eat it.
Brand Details:
Dadus Mithai Vatika spread its shops in Hyderabad from a tiny beginning a few years back. A new batch of gujiya is fried daily in the pots. Festival sweets, especially this one, are the leading tray topper picks. Packs that are sent online go a long way and are safe due to their tight seal. Stuffed types next to plain rolls are the ones that fans grab. The clean oil change and hand crimp are the two things that the workers consider as the main factors.
