Daawat Biryani Basmati Rice consists of long slim grains that are the best for layering in pots. Each grain gets longer with cooking but retains the slim shape. Surface gets dry so that grains can be easily separated on serving plates without sticking together.
The aroma is released very slowly as steam rises, thus the room gets very lightly filled with the nutty scent. The grains resist the spices' weight and absorb the gravy evenly. The color of rice becomes pearly white with very slight translucency after draining. The rice has a very tender chew with a slight bite at the center. Rice is removed easily from the dum layers or mixed well with the pulao. The consistency of length throughout the pack prevents the presence of short pieces in final dish. It goes with heavy curries or dry masalas for balanced moisture hold. The bottom of the pot is clean without rice sticking during long cooks.
