Baidyanath (Nagpur) Karela Jamun Juice is a combination of two juices: fresh Karela and Jamun, which are pressed separately and mixed afterwards in equal proportions. The method of producing the Karela juice entails literally crushing the whole gourd and squeezing out its liquid, while the same process is applied to the Jamun berries, only it is done when the berries are ripe. That way, the natural bitter-sharp edge from Karela and the sour note from Jamun complement each other without any sugar being stirred in.
The straining part is the one that takes away the rough bits like seeds and thick pulp; hence, what comes out is flowing clean and steady from the bottle. The deep green colour remains due to the plant skins that are blended through, and it stays the same run after run with tight steps.
