Authentic Heritage & Story
Dried leaves and roots are packed into Boidyanath Ayurvedant Coff Soother Tea in the form of tea bags that are very convenient to use. The base of the tea consists of the thinly sliced and dried mulethi root which is thus making it chewy. The tulsi leaves are stripped from their stems and then dried air-dried to become green flakes. Ginger root is not only peeled but also chopped finely before being sun-dried. Cardamom seeds are extracted from the pods and ground very lightly. Fennel seeds are roasted very mildly and then cooled for having a crunch. Green tea is twisted very firmly during the rolling and firing steps.
The blending of the different kinds of tea is all done by machines that scoop the mixture into paper bags and seal them with the metal tags. The dry mix of the tea consists of green leaves along with brown root chunks and spice specks. The bags containing the tea are the ones which the boiling water dips and the yellow tones seep out with a steady flow. The ginger edge is softened while the sweetness of the mulethi rounds the cup. Tulsi on the other hand lifts a faint green note through the steam rise. It is recommended to lift the bag after steeping for the clear brew with no grit. The bag style of the tea skips straining for fast kitchen flow and hence is more suitable in the case of a busy kitchen.
