Shreeji Dairy Besan Ladoo consists of roasted gram flour as its base, together with warm pure ghee and sugar powder. The color of each ball is golden-brown, which is a result of roasting over very low heat for a long time. The surface is colored and crunchy with small pieces of almonds and pistachios. Cardamom powder is mixed in for a soft spice note that is felt immediately. The grainy yet smooth texture is created by the hand molding of the tight balls, which also allows them to keep their shape very well. Old Gujarati practices exist here where besan is roasted until it is nutty and ghee is allowed to be absorbed fully.
Storage Instructions:
Keep Shreeji Dairy Besan Ladoo in an airtight tin at room temperature. Place away from direct sun or stove heat. Close the lid tightly after every use. Avoid damp spots or fridge chill. Wipe your hands dry before handling to prevent moisture. Store separately from strong smells like pickles.
