MDH Biryani Masala is a spice mix made for biryani, the aromatic rice layered with meat or veggies from Indian celebrations. This powder is a blend of ground spices that are applied to basmati rice and marinated pieces to get that celebratory flavour. Each packet is enough for large vessels; thus, it can be easily combined with your other kitchen staples.
Storage Instructions:
The pack should be kept in a place that is cool and dry and should not be exposed to either heat or light. After use, the lid should be closed properly in order to keep the aroma intact.
How to Use:
First, marinate 1 kg chicken or mutton with yoghurt, ginger-garlic, and salt for about an hour. Then fry the sliced onions until they become brown, and boil 500g basmati rice until it is half done. Now layer the meat in the pot at the bottom and put the MDH Biryani Masala followed by the mint, the cilantro and then the rice, which should be on the top with ghee and saffron water. After sealing the pot, put it on a low flame and cook it until it is done. It can be served along with boiled eggs or salad. The shelf life of the product is up to 12 months if kept in the right condition; thus, it is a perfect product for those who like to cook on special occasions.
