Authentic Heritage & Story

Kubal Usal Masala is just the answer for bringing authentic Maharashtra by way of peacefully amalgamated ground spices. This powder is a mixture of different spices such as chilli, coriander, turmeric, black pepper, cumin, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, cloves, cassia, stone flower, cardamom, clove leaves, tej patta, and dry ginger. The whole process for each batch is done through careful grinding, keeping the natural colour and aroma of these ingredients.

Storage Instructions:

Kubal Usal Masala should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat. Use glass or porcelain airtight jars with tight lids to keep it moisture-free. Stoves or wet areas in the kitchen should not be near the jar.

How to Use:

To prepare the masala, heat oil in a frying pan and add finely cut onions till they are light brown. Add tomatoes and cook them till soft. Add 1-2 teaspoons of Kubal Usal Masala per person served, salt, and water. Adding boiled sprouts or beans will be next, and simmer till the gravy is thick. Throw in some coriander for garnishing and serving hot with bread or rice. The shelf life of the product stays for up to 12 months from the pack date. Start with less masala and then adjust as per your taste.

Brand Details:

Kubal is a product of K. T. Kubal & Co. Pvt. Ltd., which was established almost a century ago by Mr Krishnaji Tukaram Kubal in the city of Mumbai. The company's start was during a period when home-made spices were the norm, but it slowly carved a market by launching ready-to-use spice blends through constant experimentation with recipes and packaging.
