Authentic Heritage & Story

Kubal Turmeric Powder comes from whole turmeric roots of the Curcuma longa plant. Farmers dig up the bright orange rhizomes, boil them, dry them in the sun, and grind them into a fine yellow powder. This powder has a smooth feel and stays free-flowing in the pack. It gives off an earthy, slightly bitter smell that wakes up in hot oil. Home cooks reach for it in most Indian recipes, from morning chai to night curries. The color brings a warm golden tone to dals, veggies, rice, and meats. No other spices or fillers go in, just pure ground turmeric. The bright shade comes from the natural curcumin in the roots.

Storage Instructions:

Keep Kubal Turmeric Powder in a cool and dry area that is also protected from direct sunlight or heat. You can transfer to glass or tin jars that are airtight and have tight lids. Store in areas away from stoves, sinks, or humid places. Only use dry spoons for scooping and seal immediately after use.

How to Use:

Add a pinch of Kubal Turmeric Powder to hot oil with onions or garlic at the start of cooking. Stir into boiling lentils, rice, or veggie mixes midway. Blend into flour for rotis or batter for pakoras. Dust over yogurt, salads, or roasted items at the end. Use fresh in soups or marinades just before serving. Shelf life lasts 12 months from pack date if kept dry. Start small and add more to fit your taste.
