After that, add sliced shallots and diced tomatoes. Stir in 2-3 tsp Goldmine Sambhar Masala for each cup of dal, mixing in the dal, and pouring the tamarind juice. Simmer for 8-10 mins. Do not forget to serve it with rice. Properly stored, it remains good for 12-24 months.
