Vaidyaratnam Madhookasavam

Vaidyaratnam Madhookasavam is a specialized Ayurvedic preparation that targets respiratory and digestive health. This formulation includes Madhooka (Madhuca indica), which has traditionally been used for its healing properties, along with Vidanga (Embelia ribes), Chithraka (Plumbago zeylanica), and Bhallathaka (Semecarpus anacardium), known for their therapeutic benefits in treating respiratory conditions and improving digestion.

Madhookasavam is particularly useful for managing sprue (a malabsorption disorder), haemoptysis (coughing up blood), phthisis (pulmonary tuberculosis), and anorexia (loss of appetite). The formulation also contains Manjishta (Rubia cordifolia), Ela (Elettaria cardamomum), and Kamalam (Nelumbo nucifera), which help in detoxification, improving appetite, and boosting immunity.

• Manjishta (Rubia cordifolia - Root): 0.286 g
• Ela (Elettaria cardamomum - Seed): 0.034 g
• Kamalam (Nelumbo nucifera - Stamen): 0.034 g
• Agaru (Aquilaria agallocha - Heartwood): 0.034 g
• Chandana (Santalum album - Heartwood): 0.034 g
• Madhu (Honey): 1.14 g

Dosage:
